Hines
Tommy Craig has been the regional officer and partner responsible for Hines' New York Tri-State office since 1996. His responsibilities include managing the development, redevelopment, acquisition, construction, modification and/or interior fit-out of projects in the region. Since joining Hines in 1982, Mr. Craig, who is completing his 40th year at the firm, has led development projects and transactions aggregating over 25 million square feet, with $30 billion of assets under management

As senior project officer for Hines, he is responsible for:
- development of 555 Greenwich, a 270,000 SF 16-story office building that will exceed NYC’s 2030 climate targets for office buildings by over 45%.
- development of One Vanderbilt (1.65M SF) with SL Green
- development of One Madison Avenue (1.4 MSF) with SL Green
- development of three multifamily residential projects – one in New Haven, CT and two in Sleepy Hollow, NY
- development of two new seniors housing projects, one at 139 East 56th Street and the other at 2330 Broadway in Manhattan.
- development and sale of 7 Bryant Park, a boutique office building in midtown, to Bank of China (2015).
- 53 West 53, the luxury condominium tower designed by Jean Nouvel above MoMA
- a 12-building portfolio of 6.0 MSF in Hudson Square, Manhattan.

He was also responsible for the 2003 acquisition and subsequent disposition of 600 Lexington Avenue (2010), 499 Park Avenue and 425 Lexington Avenue (2013).

Tommy received a BA in History/Economics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and an MBA from Columbia University. He served as adjunct professor of Real Estate Development at Columbia’s Business School from 2010 to 2015, and is a member, Board of Trustees, Executive Committee and Chairman of the Real Estate Committee, Phipps Houses. He is a former member of the Citizens Budget Commission and is currently a member of the Board and Vice President of Development, Urban Design Forum. He served as senior warden, Trinity Episcopal Church, Southport, CT.
