Mark Edelstein is chair of Morrison & Foerster’s Global Real Estate practice (announced in 2020 a Law360 Practice Group of the Year). Mark has significant experience with syndicated, participated, and CMBS loan arrangements, A/B note transactions, EB-5 transactions, bond transactions, mezzanine financing, preferred equity, workouts, restructurings, bankruptcies, and complex intercreditor and co-lender agreements. In 2013, 2014, and 2019, he was named a “Real Estate MVP” by Law360 and has also received recognition for excellence by Chambers, Legal 500, Euromoney, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and Who’s Who Legal. In 2016 and 2017, he was named a “Power Lawyer” by Commercial Observer and in 2020 Connect Media selected Mark as one of 50 attorneys from across the United States to be featured as a winner in its inaugural “Lawyers in Real Estate” Awards. More interestingly, he is the dad of triplets, Jordan, Adam, and Danielle.
