The Real Estate Associate Program (Project REAP) – is the largest diversity initiative for talent in the commercial real estate industry. REAP was created in 1997 to educate minority professionals in the disciplines of commercial real estate in order to create career and professional development opportunities for aspiring commercial real estate practitioners, and to provide talent to real estate industry employers. It is unique as a diversity initiative in that it is a national program focused on the commercial real estate industry and supported by several of the leading trade associations (ICSC, ULI, NAIOP, BOMA, NAA and the National Multi-Housing Council) and professional organizations representing the interests of the commercial real estate sector. Our signature 10-week program offers complete immersion in real estate concepts and principles, with support from the industry’s major trade organizations and prominent real estate companies. REAP was launched in Washington DC (1998); Atlanta (2001); New York City (2006); Chicago (2009); Los Angeles (2011); Cleveland (2012); Columbus (2014); Dallas (2015); and Kansas City (2017).
