Mr. Zetlin, one of the country’s leading construction litigators and construction contract specialists, also serves as a general counsel and strategic advisor to many of his clients. A graduate civil engineer and attorney, Mr. Zetlin has successfully litigated and arbitrated many multi-million-dollar construction claims throughout the United States on projects in the institutional, commercial, residential, energy and infrastructure sectors. In addition to litigation, Mr. Zetlin drafts and negotiates contracts for projects with construction values in the hundreds of millions of dollars on behalf of owners, developers, design professionals, construction managers, contractors and other parties in the construction industry.

He is a fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers and a member of the National Academy of Construction, as well as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, where he teaches the Legal Issues in Building Construction, and is the co-editor of New York Construction Law, the definitive treatise on construction law in New York. He is also a member of the Construction Mega Project Panel for the American Arbitration Association.

Mr. Zetlin is an active member of the New York Building Congress where he has served as General Counsel for over twenty years. He also serves as the General Counsel for the American Institute of Architects, New York City and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Pratt Institute, New York.
