Michael is a Principal member with BOMA NY, the Chair of Commercial Management Council at REBNY, and an adjunct professor teaching classes at NYU, Fordham, and BOMA.

Alexandra Cooley

Chief Investment Officer, Nuveen Green Capital, Nuveen Services LLC

Officer of Nuveen Green Capital (formerly known as Greenworks Lending), Ali leads the nation’s largest provider of C-PACE financing providing leadership and strategic vision for the firm’s investment and portfolio management strategy. She has raised over $1B of equity and debt for Greenworks’ C-PACE assets, including structuring the first-ever securitization of CPACE assets in 2017; and oversees a portfolio with best-in-industry performance. From the inception of Greenworks to the April 2021 acquisition by Nuveen, Ali served as CIO, COO and CFO, leading Greenworks’ expansion from one to over three dozen states, from 0 to over 400 individual assets, and from two to over 60 employees strong.

Cathy Cunningham

Cathy Cunningham is the Finance Editor and Co-Deputy Editor of Commercial Observer. Born and raised in Scotland, Cathy got her journalism start as a CMBS reporter for Institutional Investor in New York in 2005. After the global financial crisis she was a mortgage analyst for Bank of Scotland before moving to CREMAC Asset Management, where she was involved in the acquisition of commercial real estate whole loans and CMBS. Since 2016, Cathy has been responsible for leading Commercial Observer's finance coverage nationwide.

Jamie Kocis advises securitization participants in both warehouse securitization facilities and term securitizations across all esoteric asset classes. She serves as deal counsel in market-leading transactions involving new and emerging asset classes, including in the solar asset and commercial PACE (property assessed clean energy) space.

Jamie represents issuers, underwriters, borrowers, lenders and service providers in structured finance transactions involving a variety of asset classes, including timeshare loans, solar assets, commercial PACE assets, structured settlements, lottery receivables, equipment leases, auto loans, consumer loans, small business loans, collateralized debt obligations, commercial mortgage loans, marketplace lending, distressed assets, government contract receivables, student loans, and trademark and licensing rights. She oversees Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives and reporting, Marketing and Communications, Information Technology, Human Resources, Enterprise Risk Management and also serves on Columbia’s Investment Committee and Columbia’s corporate philanthropy and social responsibility DEI committees.

Matt Zehnder

Director, KeyBanc Capital Markets

Matt Zehnder is a Director with KeyBanc Capital Markets, based in Seattle Washington. He leads Key’s C-PACE business within the Public Sector/Public Finance Group. Matt has been at Key for nine years specializing in a range of financings in the energy space including taxable and tax-exempt municipal bonds and loans, direct and private placements, credit facilities and C-PACE. Prior to Key, Matt worked with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in New York providing structured product valuation services.

Matt holds a Master’s of Science in Finance degree from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Western Washington University. His securities licenses include the Series 52 and 63 and passed the Washington State Board of Accountancy Exam in 2002.
