Officer of Nuveen Green Capital (formerly known as Greenworks Lending), Ali leads the nation’s largest provider of C-PACE financing providing leadership and strategic vision for the firm’s investment and portfolio management strategy. She has raised over $1B of equity and debt for Greenworks’ C-PACE assets, including structuring the first-ever securitization of CPACE assets in 2017; and oversees a portfolio with best-in-industry performance. From the inception of Greenworks to the April 2021 acquisition by Nuveen, Ali served as CIO, COO and CFO, leading Greenworks’ expansion from one to over three dozen states, from 0 to over 400 individual assets, and from two to over 60 employees strong.

Matt Zehnder is a Director with KeyBanc Capital Markets, based in Seattle Washington. He leads Key’s C-PACE business within the Public Sector/Public Finance Group. Matt has been at Key for nine years specializing in a range of financings in the energy space including taxable and tax-exempt municipal bonds and loans, direct and private placements, credit facilities and C-PACE. Prior to Key, Matt worked with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in New York providing structured product valuation services.

Matt holds a Master’s of Science in Finance degree from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Western Washington University. His securities licenses include the Series 52 and 63 and passed the Washington State Board of Accountancy Exam in 2002.
