Steven Witkoff is Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Witkoff, a privately held, vertically-integrated global real estate development and investment firm with offices in Miami, New York, and Los Angeles. Witkoff is a market leader in the ownership and development of premier residential, hospitality, office, retail, and mixed-use properties in top tier cities across the United States and abroad. Since founding the firm in 1997, Mr. Witkoff has leveraged his extensive real estate expertise to successfully lead the financing, repositioning, and construction of more than 100 properties comprising more than 30 million square feet and more than $25 billion in transactional value in major business districts in the U.S. and abroad.

The Witkoff portfolio of successfully completed projects includes Devonshire House, a 186,000-square-foot office building in London’s West End; the 1.2 million-square-foot, 467-foot high Daily News Building skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan; 10 Hanover Square in Manhattan’s Financial District, and 150 Charles Street in Manhattan’s West Village, and Miami’s Hilton Cabana Miami Beach. Active projects include New York City’s historic Woolworth Building; Public Hotel New York & 215 Chrystie Street Residences; West Hollywood EDITION Hotel & Residences; The Park in Santa Monica, and 111 Murray Street in Tribeca.

Prior to founding his namesake firm, Mr. Witkoff co-founded Stellar Management Company., where he acquired and repositioned a portfolio of residential buildings in New York City. Earlier in his career, he practiced real estate law at Dreyer & Traub and Rosenman & Colin, representing a number of large developers and investors.

In 2021, Mr. Witkoff co-founded Ocean Drive Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: ODACU), a special purpose acquisition company formed for the purpose of acquiring stock of effecting a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses; with an emphasis on businesses that provide technological solutions and innovations in the global real estate industry. Ocean Drive Acquisition Corp. is led by Mr. Witkoff, acting as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman Howard Lorber, the Chief Executive Officer of Vector Group.

Mr. Witkoff holds a Juris Doctor from Hofstra University. He has served on the Executive Committee for the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), as a trustee for the Intrepid Foundation.

Mr. Witkoff currently serves as Chairman of the University of Miami Business School Real Estate Advisory Board and is a member of the Hofstra University Board of Trustees and a trustee of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. In October 2019, he was honored with a Presidential appointment to the Board of Trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. He is a widely sought-after public speaker on trends in global real estate.
